ONROADLED - Lighting the road ahead, powered wirelessly.
-
Safety Without Compromise
ONROADLED uses inductive power transfer, which eliminates exposed wiring, sparks, and the risk of electrocution. This makes installation and maintenance far safer, allowing even non-electrical specialists to handle the system with confidence compared to traditional wired solutions.
-
Long-Range, High-Performance System
A single power supply is capable of powering and controlling up to 2.5 kilometres of cable, supporting as many as 250 markers along its length. Each unit is designed for demanding road conditions, remaining visible from distances of up to 800 metres and delivering consistent performance even under heavy traffic.
-
Built for Durability & Longevity
Each marker is manufactured from UV-stabilised, impact-resistant polycarbonate and sealed against corrosion and environmental damage. Scratch-resistant lenses further extend service life, ensuring the system continues to perform with minimal maintenance in high-use environments.
-
Weather & Water Resistance
With a completely sealed design, the markers are protected from water ingress and remain resilient in wet, icy, or extreme temperature conditions. This level of protection makes ONROADLED significantly more robust and reliable than conventional hard-wired lighting systems.
-
Intelligent Control & Remote Monitoring
The inductive communication system allows every marker to be programmed individually, enabling advanced features such as dimming, flashing, sequencing, and even colour variation. Each unit can also deliver diagnostic data, with the entire network capable of being monitored remotely for maximum efficiency.
-
Simple, Scalable Installation
The system has been designed for straightforward deployment, with shallow cabling and a minimal number of components. Faults can be quickly detected and addressed, ensuring reduced downtime, while compatibility with both mains and 24V supplies makes it highly adaptable for a wide range of applications.
Inductive Power Technology
At the heart of ONROADLED is Inductive Power Technology, an advanced method of transferring energy without direct wiring. Using magnetic induction, electricity is passed from a recessed cable to the markers above, eliminating the need for exposed connections. This wireless power transfer makes the system spark-free, safe from electrocution, and highly reliable in all conditions.
Because there are no vulnerable joints or exposed wiring, IPT ensures a long-lasting, low-maintenance solution. A single power supply can manage up to 2.5 kilometres of cabling and control as many as 250 markers, providing unmatched range with fewer components. The result is a guidance system that is simple to install, cost-efficient to operate, and durable enough for the most demanding traffic environments.
ONROADLED Applications & Usage Potentials
ONROADLED™ is an inductively powered LED guidance system that delivers safer, smarter, and more sustainable lighting across a wide variety of sectors. Its flexibility allows it to be deployed for highways, tunnels, airports, logistics hubs, and beyond, wherever safe, reliable, and dynamic guidance is required.
