Health and Safety Policy

BIG on Safety. BIG on People.

At Bankswood Infrastructure Group, safety isn’t an add-on; it’s at the heart of everything we do.

We are BIG on Safety, committed to protecting our teams, clients, and the public on every project.
We are BIG on People, ensuring that everyone goes home safe, healthy, and supported, every single day.

Our goal is simple: Zero Harm. By embedding strong processes, fostering a culture of care, and driving continuous improvement, we make safety a shared responsibility across all our undertakings.

The health, safety, and well-being of our employees, contractors, clients, and the wider community remain our highest priority. We are dedicated to carrying out every activity in a way that prevents injury, protects health, and guarantees the safe delivery of our projects across highways, rail, aviation, industrial, and urban environments.

We believe all accidents are preventable. Through strong leadership, clear procedures, and a culture of accountability, we strive to achieve and maintain Zero Harm in everything we do.

Our Objectives

We will:

  • Deliver training, supervision, and resources to ensure employees are competent and confident in carrying out their roles safely.

  • Engage and consult with employees, contractors, and stakeholders on health and safety matters.

  • Ensure incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions are reported, investigated, and acted upon.

  • Continuously improve our health and safety management system through monitoring, audits, and review.

  • Encourage a culture of openness and continuous learning.

  • Share best practices across the group and our supply chain.

  • Review this policy annually (or sooner if legislation or operations change).
